CBBAG IN VANCOUVER
Sat, Mar 3, 2018, 10-3pm, Altered Books with Rachael Ashe. Participants should bring their own book(s) that they want to alter. The first half of the workshop will be spent learning about techniques for altering books; the second half, applying these techniques. $80 CBBAG Members, $100 Nonmembers. 12 spots left (15 students max). Sat, Oct/Nov, 2018. Advent Calendar Box with Suzan Lee. Learn to make a 24 day Treasure Box Advent Calendar that lasts and lasts. Applying traditional bookbinding techniques, participants will learn to make a double-lidded box (roughly 12″x 9″x 2″) that opens to reveal 24 drawers. What those drawers contain is up to you and your imagination! Whether you make it for yourself or to be shared among many people, this hand constructed advent box will sure to express your creativity regardless of its practical purpose or holiday intent. No prior experience necessary. All tools and materials will be provided. Please bring snacks and lunch. $____ CBBAG Members and $____ Nonmembers. 12 students max.
